The Casino of Cadaqués: from stately home to the village's parlour
Some buildings end up telling a town's story almost without meaning to. The Casino of Cadaqués, home to the Societat l'Amistat, is a good example. Facing the sea on Plaça del Doctor Trèmols, its white façade, iron balconies and large windows have been part of the village's everyday landscape for generations. But before becoming a casino, café, meeting place and cultural centre, the building had been the private home of a well-to-do Cadaqués family.

Santa Maria de Cadaqués
