Candlelight transforms the anthems of Coldplay and Imagine Dragons in Cadaqués
Music will continue to fill Cadaqués throughout August with performances from the Festival Internacional de Música de Cadaqués. Don’t miss this immersive experience, where pop, rock, and classical music meet under candlelight.
On Friday, August 21, at 21.30 h, the Església de Santa Maria will host the Candlelight Cadaqués concert: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons, performed by a string quartet.
The great anthems of both bands will be transformed into delicate instrumental versions that let you hear their melodies from a different perspective. The program will include Coldplay songs such as Clocks, Fix You, The Scientist, A Sky Full of Stars, and Viva la Vida, together with Imagine Dragons hits such as Radioactive, Thunder, Follow You, Bad Liar, and Believer.
An exciting proposal that will combine the power of two of the most popular bands of recent decades with the sound of a string quartet and the special atmosphere created by hundreds of candles.
