Music fills Cadaqués this summer. The Festival Internacional de Música de Cadaqués continues its programme with an experience designed to move audiences through music and a very special atmosphere. Don’t miss the arrival of Candlelight in Cadaqués.
On Friday 21 August, at 19.30 h, the Església de Santa Maria will host a tribute to ABBA and Queen performed by a string quartet, surrounded by candlelight.
Audiences will be able to rediscover some of the two bands’ most popular songs, transformed into instrumental versions. The programme will include ABBA tracks such as Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Super Trouper and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, as well as great Queen anthems such as Bohemian Rhapsody, I Want to Break Free, Don’t Stop Me Now, We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions.
A proposal that combines music, light and heritage to create an intimate experience in one of Cadaqués’ most iconic spaces.
